Groenkloof:

During 1961 the Former State President, Dr CR Swart, opened Andersen House, Groenkloof, where we have a total of 39 flats and cottages. There are 20 cottages and flats for couples and 19 flats for single persons.

All of the above mentioned units are occupied on a monthly rental basis where the rental charged is well below market value.

Life Right Cottages:

During 2005, 19 Life Right retirement cottages were added to our Groenkloof housing project. We have thirteen, 2 bedroom Life – Right cottages, each with its own lock up garage, and six, 1 bedroom cottages. These cottages are sold and resold at market value in terms of Act no.65 of 1988. They are roomy, north facing and delightful.

The rented and Life Right cottages are surrounded by the delightful gardens which are maintained with the assistance of our older people.

All cottages have the use of borehole water.

Overnight rooms:

In addition to the above, The Flower Foundation Groenkloof has four guest rooms which can accommodate two people each. These rooms are used as either an overnight stop or a few days stay by the families of people who require treatment at the neighboring Little Company of Mary hospital. They are reasonably priced and very comfortable.
